Make Your Bath Time Tear Free In The Night Garden
Some children are natural water babies and others shudder at the very thought of getting wet. So if you are getting your Pontipines in a twist when it comes to the bath time blues then these new and fun In the Night Garden bath time products could save you.
We took one tricky toddler, a warm bathroom and tried out this bath range to see just what would happen.
Yes his name is Igglepiggle, and we love him for his iggle wiggle piggle proper job bubble bath. This potion gives you the full on Hollywood bubble bath effect. We had a warm tub brimming with fresh scented bubbles and not a clear patch of water in sight.
We ended up with a toddler giggling in mirth wearing a traditional full-faced white bubble Moses beard and hair.
The freestanding 3D Igglepiggle Bubble Bath comes with face washcloth and was continuously kissed and worshiped by our test out toddler. If your little one is mad on Makka Pakka, or is doo dally about Upsy Daisy then these are also available.
Price £5.99
Also in this range are the Squashy Washies. They absorb water and can be used as a flannel. Our little lad doesn’t like his locks washed as it makes the water gets in his eyes. This problem was soon eradicated as he learnt to hold his precious Igglepiggle Washie over his eyes to stop the water going in.
We do recommend treating your Squashy Washy to a warm up and dry down on the radiator to keep it in a tiptop fresh condition. Also available in Makka Pakka, Upsy Daisy and Igglepiggle.
£4.99
If you want to recreate a bit of Night Garden stop frame animation with your child then this Igglepiggle Soap Dish And Flannel is perfect. It proved to be an instant hit inside and out of the tub. It is soft and floats perfectly across a bath of bubbles. It is also great for scrub down distraction techniques. Squeeze water out of toy before allowing on living room carpet.
Red soap and vital comfort blanket flannel accompany this fun toy

As soon as your child starts to get their milk teeth through then establishing a brushing routine is important for future dental hygiene. To compliment the bath time goodies is the Upsy Daisy Toothbrush and Holder.
£2.99
This range was hugely popular with our two and three year old boy and girl. We loved their amusement and the way each product could be adapted to calm their different bath time fears.
Playing in the bath with Igglepiggle allayed their water fears and soon had each lying back, laughing and kicking their legs, a sure fire way to make them more confident when reaching the swimming baths for the first time.
The Night Garden range really is a bright and fun addition to the bathroom and can turn bath time into story time too if you struggle to get your over excitable boy to take any interest in books then the bath toys can be a fun way of stimulating their imagination.
Available from Boots, Argos, Asda, Tesco, Toys R Us.
