Silentnight launch fourth Book at Bedtime competition for children

The fourth national Book at Bedtime competition has just launched, with things looking up for the South West.

Last year’s winner, Emma Nicholson from Burnham on Sea, successfully beat hundreds of entries with her story Sindy and Sam’s Sweet adventure.

Now Silentnight are looking for more young authors aged between 7 and 12 years of age to win a chance to have their very own story published and illustrated.

All entrants have to do is write their own bedtime story featuring Silentnight characters Hippo and Duck.

The top ten stories will be judged by children’s author Jeremy Strong who will then read the stories aloud and upload them to the Silentnight website.

As well as having their story published, the winner will also get a Silentnight bed and a stay in the Silentnight Pyjama suite at Alton Towers.
