Booking now, The Tempest, Queens Square, July 2010
Theatre lovers who relish the thought of Shakespeare performed outside the confines of a building will enjoy being entertained by a national tour of The Tempest.
The magical tale full of comedy and love is being performed by The Lord Chamberlain’s Men and will be taking place in Bristol at Queens Square on Sat 3rd July at 7.30pm.
Company founder and creative director Mark Puddle, says: “After the success of last year’s Twelfth Night, we decided to do another comedy with a shipwreck in it, so The Tempest was the natural choice. We’ve assembled a terrific cast, and there are so many memorable characters and some of the most famous speeches Shakespeare ever wrote, so it should make a fantastic summer evening.”
