Bristol school set to close

A Bristol school is set to close after a decision by the Office of the Schools Adjudicator backed proposals by Bristol City Council.

The Two Mile Hill Infant and Junior Schools in Kingswood will close and a new single Community Primary School will open in September 2010.

The decision made by Dr Elizabeth Passmore, concluded that pupils would benefit by the provisions of a single community school.
