Kids TV station launches annual pet competition

Children’s television station Boomerang, is launching its annual competition aiming to get children involved with their pets.

Kids are being invited to take part in the 2010 Pet Personality of the Year Awards by uploading a photograph of their pet to be in with a chance of winning.

All entries will be available to view on the website with users rating the ones they like the best.

Award categories include: The Garfield Award for the Greediest Pet, The Scooby-Doo Award for the Funniest Pet and The Tom and Jerry Award for the Oddest Pet Couple.

The competition starts on 29 May 2010 and closes on 11 July 2010.
