Tired dads are just breadwinners not fathers

Many modern working fathers are feeling detached from family life, finding themselves in a ‘breadwinner’ role rather than just being dad.

A survey of 2,500 dads who worked full time by Savoo.co.uk, found that 15 per cent regretted having to miss their child’s first day at school and 16 per cent were sad not to have heard their baby’s first word.

More than 50 per cent of dads arrived home from work to find their children already in bed and those that didn’t said they were too tired from their working day to play .
