Free baby first aid courses taking place across the UK

A nationwide first aid course has launched, aiming to teach parents basic emergency first aid techniques.

The annual Tesco Baby & Toddler Club BabySafe campaign, will be visiting cities across the UK with experts from the British Red Cross providing practical training.

The free seminars will take place between October 2010 and February 2011 and last for two hours.

Topics will include choking, resuscitation and meningitis with parents being able to practice techniques on baby mannequins.
