Time to fill in those holiday forms for the term time special deals
It’s finally term time, meaning those 23 per cent of parents with their eyes on cheap out of season holidays are starting the packing.
In a poll of more than 1000 parents with children aged four to ten years, 19 per cent also admitted to letting their child have time off from school when they were not unwell.
Of the holidaying parents, 59 per cent went during school time simply because it was cheaper, 22 per cent due to the convenience and 9 per cent because the reports were quieter.
The study, by www.MyVoucherCodes.co.uk also discovered 1 in 3 parents had the attitude that taking a child out of school isn’t ‘harmful’ to their future.
Only one in ten parents felt that children missing school time would harm their future prospects.
