One in three parents use very bad language in front of toddlers

If your child has come home in the first weeks of nursery with a string of colourful new words, blame the one in three parents who use strong swear words in front of their toddlers.

One in three parents use particularly foul swear words in front of their own children aged between one – three years, with a further 54 per cent using just mild cussing.

The research, by www.MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, discovered that 19 per cent of parents confessed to their toddler using a swear word in the correct context with 48 per cent of actually punishing their child for copying the words.
