It’s Jeans for Genes Day on Friday 1 October
It’s Jeans for Genes Day on Friday 1 October and people across the UK are being urged to get involved ditching their uniforms for denim to help raise money.
The annual event has been running for 15 years and has raised £35 million for children with genetic disorders.
There is an estimated 1 in every 25 children born in the UK with one of 4,500 known genetic disorders who will need care and equipment to get through their daily lives.
Free fundraising packs are available at www.jeansforgenesday.com or by calling freephone 0800 980 4800.
