Atomic Diner Bristol Review
Atomic Diner in Broadmead Bristol, is a sci-fi themed burger restaurant which takes you right back to the heart of every cult, sci-fi and 80s experience you ever dreamed of.
The walls, ceilings and shelves are packed full of a Forbidden Planet rammed toy box which has exploded and stuck to every interior wall. And that’s good because there’s plenty to entertain geeks and cult show loving children. At the same time, it’s not overwhelming and simply adds to an ambience rather than a sensory overload.
There is an adult menu from which you can order pizza or build a burger, with accompanying children’s menu.
For a post school dinner treat, this place is awesome. It’s quiet at 3.30pm – 4.30pm which is probably a lull before the storm.
Of course, the menu is pricier than cheaper burger alternatives such as McDonald’s or Burger King. But the portions are big and the children’s menu simple but very filling.
Look out for the full size Dalek and life sized Storm Trooper.
