BATH TIME REVIEW: The Whale Pail

The Whale Pail from OXO Tot, is a very modern, minimal and practical solution to an every day problem.

It is an ocean blue bath tidy that works on a three step principle – scoop, rinse, drain and store.

The wide mouth of the Pail allows multiple toys to be scooped up and holes allow the toys to dry quickly. The Pail can also be used to rinse hair due to the holes and the soft-grip non-slip handle means it won’t slide out of your grip and cause a bath time concussion.

There are various options to attach the pail to the wall either by adhesive strips for textured surfaces or suction cups for smooth tiles. There are also feet on the bottom to give added support to the weight of the toys.

Kirsty says: “I have used a few different bath tidies before. Both had suckers on that would gradually slide down the tiles or side of the bath like a melting ice cream. Holly has lots of bath toys now and we really needed some way of storing them.

“The problem with most of them is that they are designed to go on either tiles or the bath and because our titles are not shiny they won’t stick.

“The Whale Pail is the first one we have managed to secure to the wall, even if it is on the painted section. But it is great. It scoops up the toys in one sweep and drains water off of them straight out of the bottom. You can even use it to shower off soap suds on children’s hair.”
