Bristol fox rescued from plastic

With the windy weather, it’s time to make sure plastic isn’t escaping from recycling bins and harming local wildlife.

A Montpelier fox almost became a cropper this weekend after a resident noticed it cowering in gardens trying to fight a plastic bag off of its head.

She managed to make contact with a lady who rescues foxes who got to it in the nick of time.

Despite hammering rain, the fox was coaxed out from garden decking and swiftly taken to a local vets for a check up.

When all was found to be well, the fox was returned to its stomping ground.
