Bristol Unicorn Trail To Brighten Bristol This Summer With Unicornfest

The Bristol Unicorn Trail launched this week, with a row of beautifully painted unicorns lining the Downs ahead of Unicornfest which runs in Bristol this summer.

There will be 60 unicorns hitting the streets of Bristol – as well as other locations in the region. The 2 meter tall magical horses will also be joined by smaller foals, all of which will turn the city in to a huge public art trail once again.

The Unicornfest runs from the 01 July to 03 September. After this, they will come together for a final show at Propyard before being auctioned off for Leukaemia Care UK.

The unicorns have been delighting visitors to The Galleries in Broadmead, with artists taking over a former TK Maxx store. The development of many of the horses took place in the huge store front, allowing shoppers to get a rare glimpse into how artists work.

A number of unicorn foals will also be making their home at the IKEA store in Eastville. The store will also be running a series family friendly unicorn related events.

An app and paper trail map will be launching shortly.
