Chopsy Baby is Reviewing: Aldi’s Summer Lelli Kelly Styled Shoes
Most parents will have felt the shudder of horror when a Lelli Kelly shoe advert comes on the TV. The only thing to stop it being ripped from the wall and smashed after a morning of these adverts is the jaw dropping moment when you realise these horrors are £49.99.
While they may not come with a free pink make up set shaped like a mobile phone, Aldi’s summer fashion shoes are a fraction of the price at £8.99 and every bit as pretty with beads, jewels and simple Velcro strap. In fact, because they don’t come with the world’s most irritating TV advert, they are even more desirable.
Lelli Kelly shoes do have a reputation for being hardwearing despite their irritations. However, the Aldi daps above have been photographed after three days’ of intensive wear. This includes time spent jumping in puddles, walks in the woods, digging in the garden and playing in a sandpit.
When it comes to fashion shoes, we all know deep down that these are ideal for light wear and not to expect them to last too long. So far, the Aldi version have survived well, requiring light attention with a wet wipe after digging in mud. The three-year-old wearer is delighted with them and the pocket pleasing price is job well done.
The Aldi shoes come in two colours, pretty pink or vibrant silver. They are available in children’s sizes 7-12. Priced £8.99
The shoes are part of Aldi’s Specialbuys range available in store on Thursdays and Sundays while stocks last
