Boobela and Worm to the Rescue is a new book out this month by Joe Friedman and illustrated by Sam Childs.

Boobela and Worm must venture deep into the forest to free Boobela’s parents from a jungle prison. She will need all the skills she has learned on her previous adventures to succeed.

Reviewed by Bristol mother Carly Rees and her seven year old daughter Sam.

Carly says: “This book and it’s writing was not really my cup of tea. I found it a struggle to read as a bed time story. But Sam seemed to think it was great and as she is the intended reader and plenty picky about what she reads, it must have been good. I did like the illustrations. That is not something you see often in these kinds of story books.”
