Chopsy Baby is Reviewing… The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas by Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter

A completely madcap story. Quite what happened in the author’s and the illustrator’s head that made them come up with this is a mystery. It starts off as your average greedy child needs to learn a lesson. Father Christmas sets this lesson in motion, after which a dinosaur comes along and eats everything including Danny’s toys, home, mum, dad and grandmother. When Danny begins to cry, the dinosaur feels guilty and promptly poos them all out. The story will make you gasp in horror and barf in equal measure.

Chopsy Baby is Reviewing… Zoe and Beans – Zoe’s Christmas List by Chloe and Mick Inkpen

This gentle Christmas picture story book  is aimed at children aged two years and upwards. The illustrations are simply gorgeous and the language ideal for this age group.

Zoe and Beans set off to the North Pole on a dreamy adventure to pin her Christmas list up for Father Christmas. Of course, it doesn’t run smoothly, but Zoe soon finds more to life than a longing for a Kylie Kurlz doll.
