We are just over a week away from the ultimate televisual experience of the year – the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary.

To celebrate, this hardback book covers the first 50 years of the show. It features the first eleven Doctors, their companions and the adventures of each of the Time Lords – so basically not John Hurt.

With plenty of pictures and bite sized chunks of information this dynamic book is rather more encyclopedic than many fan publications.

You can read up on all the monsters past and present, time tech and other snippets of interesting information.

It’s aimed at children aged 7 – 13 years, but of course, the appeal of Doctor Who spans much younger and older so will be a suitable buy for all  fans this Christmas.
