My Fairy Garden From Interplay Launches New Fairy Light Garden
We have a My Fairy Garden in the house. It was given to my child as a Christmas present by someone who I suspect hates me. As the kitchen floor was hidden by a layer of soil, grass seeds and fairy sequins, I felt fairy annoyed during its construction. But eventually, the toy came into its own as the grass quickly began to grow.

Everyone else’s Fairy Garden probably looks good. The gardens in the pictures selling the toys looks good. Our Fairy Garden resembles a broken home where the fairy has had a breakdown and sits in a garden of hoarded junk, surrounded by empty beer cans, a collapsed sofa and a Rover Metro on Bricks.*
*Sofa, Metro and Beer Cans not included
Even so, I was interested to read that the British company Interplay, announced forthcoming additions to My Fairy Garden for 2018.
The new Fairy Light Garden (£29.99) will be available from the summer. It features magical lighting and sound effects, though I’m sure when my daughter is presented with this on her birthday it will end up looking like an illegal Bank Holiday rave in a warehouse down the Feeder.
A dainty Fairy Picnic Basket (£12.99) will be making an appearance in the spring. The dinky set is perfect for magical small world play, just make sure the fairies watch out for the Bristol City Council litter enforcement officers. They will not be welcome at this Fairy’s tea party.
