Four TV Premieres Feature on BBC Two This Christmas

There’s some TV treats coming to BBC Two this Christmas, with movie premieres of Saving Mr. Banks, The Lady in the Van, Pride and What We Did On Our Holiday.

The fun starts from Friday 23 December, with the delightful telling of Walt Disney’s attempt to make P.L Travers’ Mary Poppins novel into a film.

Alan Bennett’s memoir The Lady in the Van premieres as Christmas Eve viewing on Saturday 24 December at 21:00.

Pride will entertain audiences on Boxing Day, with its retelling of gay and lesbian activists supporting striking miners in Wales.

 And What We Did On Our Holiday, featuring David Tennant and Billy Connolly will be  hangover television during New Year.
