Free Bike Check Ups in Bristol by Life Cycle UK
Free Bike Check Ups in Bristol:
Bristol cyclists can take advantage of a free bike check up as part of an initiative to get people back into cycling by national charity Cycling UK.
Local cycling charity Life Cycle UK, will be holding events at The Life Cycle Hub (located in the carpark of Horfield Prison) allowing anyone to turn up – both adults and children – and receive a free bike check-up.
Professionally refurbished second-hand bikes will be available to buy for those people looking to give cycling a go.
The Hub will be open from 9:30 – 1:30 on Saturdays 26 May, 02 June, 16 June, 30 June, 14 July, 21 July and 28 July.
Cycling UK’s Director of Development, James Scott, said: “Often people tell us they don’t use their bikes because they either lack the confidence or skills, or their bike needs a bit of tender loving care.
“Our events in Bristol aim to tackle those barriers and encourage everyone to join and learn again to enjoy the ride.”
