Galt Toys and Dr Miriam Stoppard create The Dr Miriam @ Galt wooden toy range

She has stepped away from publishing books long enough to launch her own exclusive range of toys. Working with Galt Toys, Dr Miriam Stoppard, has created a range of wooden First Years toys for babies and toddlers.

There are seven toys in the range, including a farmyard puzzle, bricks, pull along puppy and traditional favorite hammer and pegs.

She says: “I’m a firm believer that parents are the best first teacher for their child, and this range of wooden toys supports this belief. The team at Galt Toys have done a fantastic job at bringing my vision to life. The toys include wonderful shapes and colours, and offer the perfect opportunity for parents to help develop important skills in their young children.
