Key Points To Remember:

If you managed to get through Christmas Day without a barney, then don’t forget the Boxing Day Bust-Up opportunity. Nobody expects you to get through the Christmas days without some raised voices, drunken recriminations and slammed doors.

Hiding from the mother-in-law is fine. If you feign illness, make sure you have already stashed a box of Ferrero Rocher and bottle of red under the bed.

Don’t try too hard with the Christmas presents for extended family. Everybody else has perfected the You Shouldn’t Have face too.

When the guests don’t take the hint that it is time to go, have you tried turning off the power at the mains? Great for winding up a party or getting children to bed.

All those small Haribo packets you have been holding back from the party bags are now perfect for feeding small children before the ex arrives to pick them up. We wouldn’t want them to miss out on the excitement too would we?

It’s a local Bristol event, but one that promises to be perfect evening entertainment. The free Lantern Parade, will take place on Saturday 07 December 2013, leaving from Compass Point on South Street at 4.30pm.

The parade will travel through Bedminster’s residential and retail streets before returning to the school for hot food, drinks and other entertainment.
