Information and Advice About Car Seats for Children with Disabilities

An awareness campaign to help families make decisions about specialist car seats for children with disabilities has just launched.

The Research Institute for Disabled Consumers (RiDC) and Driving Mobility is working together to improve access to knowledge and products such as adapted car seats and harnesses.

Driving Mobility is a charity supported by the Department for Transport to support people with mobility independence. They are aiming to ensure the children who need special positioning assistance are getting the information and products they need from specialist suppliers.
