Milkshake! TV on Five Taking Part in World Book Day Stories and Easter Book Giveaways
Children will be able to access Milkshake! presenters reading books on demand as part of World Book Day.
BookTrust is working with the Channel 5 Milkshake! team to show story time videos with book giveaway competitions.
The storytelling videos will be uploaded onto the Milkshake! YouTube Channel each day, with the first one already live.
A daily book competition will be taking place from March 17 – March 30 2018, with viewers having the opportunity to win a set of all ten books featured.
BookTrust CEO Diana Gerald said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Channel 5’s Milkshake! to help get more families reading for fun. We know that children who read for pleasure often perform better educationally whilst also being happier and healthier. We hope families across the country enjoy these story time videos and feel inspired to snuggle down with their little ones and get lost in a story.”
