A new book just published, helps parents and their children to deal with the difficult issue of sexual predators in an age appropriate way.

Written by a former police officer, Kate Power aims to help parents protect and teach their children to be safe without creating fear.

My Underpants Rule! is aimed at children aged from 4-8 years of age and provides a starting point for parents to start addressing issues of personal safety.

With rhymes and scenarios, appropriate and inappropriate behaviour is tackled as well as what to do in difficult situations.

Author Kate Power says: “Whilst a number of high profile cases involving celebrities have bought these issues to light, sadly, most sexual predators look just like everyone else.

“We’ve written ‘My Underpants Rule!’ to help parents talk to their children from an early age about off-limits body parts, inappropriate behaviour and how to recognise if a relationship with an adult is not normal, ensuring these lessons stay with them for life.”

The book is available to buy from Amazon priced £6.99
