Peppa Pig Hide & Seek Game – Review
Peppa Pig Hide & Seek, is a game that extends the fun of the cartoon into everyday play.
It’s a simple game that has been developed for four different levels of play depending on the age group of your child.
Level One, for example, is aimed at babies aged six – twelve months. Parents or carers are advised to take a cloth and play peekaboo by hiding Peppa, pressing her down to make noises and encouraging the baby to look for her.
At the other end of the play spectrum is Level Four. This is aimed at children aged four-five years and is much more involved. The cards which come with the plastic Peppa, are arranged into a game of treasure hunt, with each card leading to the next stage. Simple clues on the card are illustrations of newspapers, lamps, chairs and bags. With no sound to listen out for, players must follow the clues to lead them to Peppa.
Peppa herself is about 15CM high, made of bright plastic and speaks when she is pressed down.
The game comes inside an attractive tin rather than a box. It makes a wonderful change not to have a cardboard box which becomes dog-eared straightway, with the pieces falling out and becoming lost after the third outing.
The Peppa Pig Hide and Seek Game, was tested out for us by Mother of two Hayley, with three year old Vanessa and six month old Isla.
Hayley Says: “Both of my girls love Peppa Pig, so it was natural for Nessa to be drawn to the game immediately. I did think perhaps Nessa would be too old for it, but she has really enjoyed playing. I think especially so with Isla. Nessa really enjoys hiding Peppa for Isla to find. In turn, Isla and me hide Peppa and use the clue cards for Nessa to find her.
“Nessa does take Peppa to bed with her which can be very annoying for me. But really, it’s been a fun game which we have all loved playing together.”
