Casey Elliot and three-year-old daughter Evie.
Casey says: “Evie and I really enjoyed this book. I liked it because it shows how very clever people can have their flaws, especially when trying to make friends with someone loving but not as intelligent. Evie really enjoyed Teddy’s surprise mess when he tried to make his friend happy.
“It’s a really nice bedtime book with gentle illustrations rather than bold stimulating primary colours.
“I would say it would suit girls well as they can make their friendships quite complex rather than boys who fight and finish disputes.”
Best of all…
There is a little message for parents in this book too. When Teddy created a big mess, he was only doing it because ultimately, he wanted to make his friend happy. When Teddy was sent out in disgrace, the only person who felt bad was the person who put him there.

Nothing.
Basically…
A lovely little tale about valuing those nearest to you, well written and delightfully illustrated
