Stabbing Wade Street in St Jude’s Bristol

Concern spread around Wade Street in St Jude’s this weekend, after ambulances and police descended upon a block of flats.

Just after 8pm on Saturday evening, police set up a cordon on Eyer’s Lane between John Cozens House and a play park on Great Ann Street.

As several forensic vans arrived, along with a series of detectives, worried local residents gathered on Wade Street.

“I have friends in that block. It’s very worrying,” a local man told us.

As police officers began to go door-to-door in John Cozens House and along Wade Street, Bristol Live reported that a group of ten men had stabbed a 17 year-old, who fled to the block for safety.
