Times readers worried children’s lives will be worse than our own

Britain is broken, according to 70 per cent of the readers of The Times.

A populus poll for the newspaper found that readers felt that we are heading in the wrong direction and people don’t recognise the country we are living in.

More than half of voters think their children’s lives will end up being better than their own, but 37 per cent think their lives will be worse.
