Tried and tested for Christmas: The Vtech Winnie the Pooh Light ‘n’ Learn Spinning Top

The Vtech Winnie the Pooh Light ‘n’ Learn Spinning Top is a safe modern take on the old fashioned spinning top. It is a substantially made hard plastic toy which children can interact with. There are buttons and shapes that move, flashing lights, and voices that  talk and sing back to the child. When pressing the plunger the toy spins around but stays in one place unlike the original spinning top. It is suitable for children aged from 6 months to 36 months.

Mother of one, Hetty Jenkins, tested out the toy with eight month old daughter Jessica. Hetty says: “Jess really took to this toy much more than I expected her too. She quickly got the hang of the spinning and enjoyed pressing and pulling at the buttons to get a reaction. Winnie the Pooh sounds a little hoarse but Jess seemed to enjoy the singing.

“For people looking to buy a first Christmas present for a baby, even a newborn, I think this would make a nice gift for a baby to grow into and get great fun from.”
