Yellow ribbon campaign to give dog walkers extra space

Dog owners training nervous or jumpy dogs are being urged to tie a yellow ribbon on its lead.

A campaign launched in November 2012, raises awareness that some dogs simply need some extra space, or perhaps are feeling unwell.

To warn other members of the public , a yellow ribbon tied onto its lead would indicate that the dog needs some extra space.
