Chopsy Baby Says: “A genuinely useful item for baby bath time
Rating: 8/10
The original Cuddledry Baby Bath Towel has become a staple product on the baby shopping list. It was created by two mothers who made their invention famous after turning down offers of investment on BBC show The Dragons’ Den.
But does the Cuddledry live up to its hype? The answer is yes. It’s basically a long double layered towel with a hood that fits to a baby’s carer like an apron. That awkward moment trying to juggle a delicate newborn out of the bath is made so much easier by being able to pick up and directly cuddle the baby whilst wrapping them with the towel and drying at the same time.
As well as the obvious practicalities of the design, the towel is made from a double layer of organic unbleached cotton and bamboo fibre. It washes well and retains its softness – though you won’t want to be throwing it in with oily jeans or muddy trainers.
Once babies become toddlers and children, the apron is no longer a necessity but the towel is still useful as a long hooded towel to wrap around them.
