Bristol Protest In St Pauls To Support Windrush Generation

Bristol Protest Against Treatment of Windrush Generation: A rally will be taking place in Bristol tomorrow, in protest at the way the Windrush generation has been treated by the Government.

The event will start at 6pm on Friday 27 April at the Empire Windrush Mural on Campbell Street in St Pauls.

Speakers from the community will include local Civil Rights Activist Judah Adubi, as well as local trade unionists and councillors.

The aim is to show solidarity, stand up against the damaging approach by the government and defend the rights of the Windrush generation and their families to remain in their homes and at their jobs where they belong.

Stand Up To Racism Bristol, has organised the event writing:  ‘Demand an immediate end to government racist immigration legislation and actions that bully and frighten our elders and the community.’
