3D Wetlands Mural Cabot Circus
Have you spotted the 3D Wetlands Mural in Cabot Circus and wondered what it’s for?
The floor mural has been brought to Bristol to mark World Wetlands Day 2023, aiming to show had degraded wetland can be transformed and restored back into habitat.
The mural has been created by artists 3D Joe and Max. When standing on the mural, you become immersed into the picture. It has attracted a lot of attention at the shopping centre from shoppers eager to stand on the mural for photo opportunities.
World Wetlands Day is celebrated annually to mark the anniversary of The Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, signed on 02 February 1971. The convention protects vulnerable and important habitats.
