Parents kit kids out in second hand gear

More parents than ever are sending their kids back to school kitted out in second hand gear.

School uniforms, bags and textbooks are just a few of the back-to-school essentials parents have been buying online for their children.

The findings come from second hand online community site Preloved.co.uk.

The site found that just 16 per cent of people would not buy second hand gear compared to a whopping 73 per cent of people who are quite happy to net a bargain on the internet.
