New findings from ALSPAC results in more ‘chav’ bashing parent prejudice across the internet
Another medical study published today, has led to more ‘chav’ bashing comments cropping up across the internet.
Findings by the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC) show that Children eating a diet mainly consisting of processed food before the age of three, could possibly have a lower IQ at the age of eight and a half.
Responsible research also found it was pointless correcting the diet to one of better nutritious value after three years of age, because it would have no bearing on the IQ by this point.
The research was published online in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health.
But parent prejudice is becoming rife on the internet, with story comments taking another opportunity to ‘Chav’ bash.
Some of our favourite reader comments from the Daily Mail:
Thick kids are the products of thick parents who fill their trolleys with this rubbish (you know who you are, I see you in the supermarket every week and I look at your trolleys at the checkout, you and your unkempt misbehaved brats in disgust.)
Chavs don’t need IQs, just the benefit money from breeding indiscriminately.
I suspect it’s the other way around – thick chavs eat junk food! What puzzles me is how they afford all this expensive rubbish, as it’s far more expensive than fresh produce. For what they spend on pizzas, Turkey Twangers and take-aways, they could buy enough fresh meat and veg to last a week. Maybe they are just lazy and can’t be bothered, and their benefits are too generous.
Stupid parents = feed kids with junk = low IQ kids Nothing to do with food but with the DNA of their chavy parents
Its all the chavs that eat junk food
