Parents are feeding chocolate and caffeinated drinks to babies

In a new study, parents have admitted to introducing solids to their baby much earlier than recommended.

According to a poll of 1,183 UK mothers, 51 per cent started weaning at four months because they felt their baby was too hungry for just milk.

MyVoucherCodes also found that six per cent had given their baby chocolate even before they had reached the six month milestone.

A further 42 per cent did manage to wait until their child was 12 months before they introduced chocolate.

Shockingly, 24 per cent of parents gave their children caffeinated drinks before their first birthday.
