The Accommodation
We stayed in a gold six-bedroom apartment on Elderberry Square, Plantation Quay.
The apartment comprised a fully equipped kitchen, good-sized lounge, bedrooms and shower/toilet room. All areas were clean and presentable. We had no complaints and there was nothing that made us go ugh!
We did have a comedy moment when everything on the large table began to slide off. We realised the previous guests had broken off a table leg and just left it propped up.
We phoned up the accommodation helpline and within 15 minutes we had a visit from a maintenance person who quickly attached a brand new table leg.
We didn’t hear a peep out of the neighbours despite the resort being full. At three am on Saturday morning we did hear a member of staff persuading some cheerful inebriates to go back to their apartment, and early Sunday morning we were woken up by some happy songbirds.
Do take your own washing up liquid. Although it is provided you will need more than what is on offer.
Minehead is cold in February so wrap up warm.
