Nelsons Arnicare Kids Stick is a green tinted arnica stick for bumps and bruises on non-broken skin. Made from organic arnica montana grown in Scotland. Suitable for children over three years of age. Arnica is used on bruises to help reduce the discolouration of the skin and sore feeling. It should be applied soon after injury.
Nelsons Tea Tree Cream is a natural antiseptic created with Tea Tree oil from Australia.

Chloe says: “I have always used Savlon as an antiseptic cream for all of us in the family. Between the five of us, there are usually a few cuts and bruises happening, especially at weekends when the rabble are out in the garden.
“I liked the Nelsons Tea Tree Cream. It has a very strong tea tree scent but I don’t find it overpowering. I found this really good at keeping cuts on knuckles moist and clean. It helped them to heal without them repeatedly cracking open again. And as it kept the cut moist it took away that irritating pain you get every time you move your fingers. It is more expensive than my usual choice, but on the strength of its effectiveness on knuckles, I will be happy to swap.”

“I have three boys. Two are always in the wars with bruises and bumps. I have never used Arnica for anything though I have heard people recommend it.
“I tried it for a few weeks on my sons. They are twelve, seven and three years of age. To be honest, I didn’t really notice a difference myself – which would be hard to monitor as I am not applying it to my body. But they did tend to calm down from crying and fretting from their bump after I had applied it. Of course it could be a placebo effect, but anything that stops us dragging ourselves to the Walk-In Centre on the strength of a ‘performance’ is a plus.”

Keep any arnica applications to single, very small doses on the skin and never allow children to put into their mouth. Do not use on broken skin.
