Chopsy Baby is Reviewing: The Mini Micro T-bar Scooter with Seat and O-Bar handle

The brand new Mini Micro T-bar Scooter with Seat and O-Bar handle is a scooter that grows with children from the age of 12 months to five years of age.

The clever design features a standard Mini Micro Scooter foot plate base with three different handle or seat options.

For children aged 12 months to 3 years, there is a seat and O-bar. When the child becomes more confident at scooting, the seat can be removed, leaving the O-bar handle. Once the child is fully confident at scooting and from the age sof 3 – 5 years, the O-bar is replaced with a standard Mini Micro T-bar.

All four components come together as one package and are easily buildable with clip in bars. The seat needs to be fitted with an Allan key – provided

The Mini Micro T-bar Scooter with Seat and O-Bar handle is a really brilliant concept. A good-quality scooter that grows with your child is both cost effective and practical. It means one tough toy that will last the distance rather than having to replace cheaper scooters as your child grows out of them.

This scooter is suitable for children aged 12 months upwards. It is great for use indoors, even in really small rooms. Youngsters can sit on the seat and move themselves around using their feet. This again can replace a whole host of other wheeled toys that seem to accumulate for this age group.

The Mini Micro is easy to put together with its clip in design. The only technical bit is to use an Allan key to fit the seat. This is so simple a four year old could do it.

Will the scooter last an entire five years? From our review earlier in the year of the neon Mini Micro –which this turns into minus the neon colours-  we can confirm that the scooter stands up to the most punishing bashing around possible.

Should the scooter eventually show signs of wear and tear, instead of having to buy a brand new scooter, replacement parts are available at a reasonably low cost.

The Mini Micro has proved itself to be the perfect scooter for children with its three PU wheels giving good grip and stability. Children can also steer the scooter with its axle and provides them with really smooth ride, coping easily with bumpy pavements.
