Fathers dream of stardom rather than academia for their children

It seems chavtastic TV stardom is what father wish for their children’s future, rather than academic success.

According to a poll of more than 1,000 UK dads, 51 per cent said they would rather see their children crowned the winner of X Factor, The Voice or Big Brother than becoming a doctor or work in the legal profession.

The poll, conducted by Ultralase, also found that 1 in 3 would prefer their sons to become famous or marry a celebrity, rather than having a regular job they enjoy
