REVIEW: New Ribena Plus Orange and Mandarin

Ribena plus orange

The new Orange and Mandarin flavour from Ribena Plus, gets a thumbs up from Chopsy Baby.

The refreshing flavour has a hint of mandarin without being over powering and makes for a tangy twist to plain old orange. The traditional Ribena bonus means it has added vitamin A, C and E.

The no-added-sugar drink does contain Aspartame, something practically impossible to avoid on squashes, but in terms of flavour, tops obvious rival Robinsons.

While purist parents may sneer at adding squash to water, some children just don’t like plain old tap water, even if prepared with the tears of angels. This is where a splash of Ribena is absolutely perfect. In the hot summer ahead, keeping children hydrated is far more important than petty drink battles and this summer squash is the perfect way to flavour it.

8/10

The new flavour comes in both lunchbox friendly cartons as well as standard 850ml bottles.

RRP: 850ml squash bottle £2.89 and 10 packs of 200ml ready to drink cartons £2.69
