Free summer exhibition featuring children’s TV props

Some of the more iconic props from children’s television will be shown at an exhibition celebrating 90 years of children’s BBC shows.

Items from programmes from 1922 to current day are being installed at The Lowry, in Salford Quays to feature in the free summer event.

Visitors can expect to see Things like the original Blue Peter ‘make’ Tracy Island, Laa-Laa from the Teletubbies, The Veggies and the original Blue Peter ship.

Here’s One We Made Earlier opens to the public on Saturday 19 July and runs until Sunday 12 October 2014
