Children can put the tablets down with 75 per cent taking part in after school activities
Parents are still making children get off the gadgets and out of the house, a study finds.
In fact, 75 per cent of parents taking part in a poll by Family Investments said their children took part in clubs, classes and activities outside of school time.
Sports was the most popular pastime (53 per cent) followed by Dance classes (21 per cent) then Brownies, Cubs and Scouts (20 per cent).
A 59 per cent of the parents taking part said the activity their child participated in cost £10 per week or under.
