Birth Rites Collection to Relaunch with Additional Works in March 2016

A collection of contemporary art featuring childbirth, is to be relaunched in March this year with a special opening night event.

The Birth Rites Collection was first launched by artist and curator Helen Knowles in 2008 and aimed to encourage debate about the politics and practice of childbirth through the medium of art.

Now the collection will be adding 12 new additions amongst its photography, sculpture and painting.

The opening night event will feature performance, workshops and talks and will take place on Thursday 03 March 2016.
