Booking opens next month for War Horse’s return to The Bristol Hippodrome

The National Theatre’s stunning production of War Horse, will be returning to The Bristol Hippodrome next year as part of a UK tour.
Tickets will go on sale on Monday 08 of February and early booking is recommended.
The show will be running from 18 October until 11 November 2017 in Bristol.
Marketing Manager at The Bristol Hippodrome, Steve Jones said: “When War Horse arrived here in January 2015 it took Bristol by storm enthralling audiences from far and wide and captivating the critics. Now a year on we are thrilled to be able to announce that War Horse will be making a triumphant return in October 2017. We have no doubt that those who missed out on the sell-out visit last year will be first in the queue when it goes on sale to the general public on the 08 February”.
War horse has been running at the New London Theatre for eight years and has won 25 awards.
The show is based on Michael Morpurgo’s story of courage, loyalty and friendship, about a young boy called Albert and his horse Joey, set against the backdrop of the First World War.
Michael Morpurgo said: ‘After a few months rest, out at pasture, Joey, the War Horse and his great team from the National Theatre, will be touring the UK again, from 2017 through to 2018 and the centenary of the end of the First World War, taking their show all over the country, to towns and cities, many of them places War Horse has not been seen before. I am so pleased this is happening; that so many more people will have the chance to enjoy this unique theatrical event. Steady boy, steady Joey. Trot on!’
