It’s quite an expensive initial outlay, but The Reward Box, is a fresh take on an old idea.

It comes in two designs, Fairy or Pirate and a pouch of 20 silver stars. Children are able to personalise their box with a set of stickers containing characters and letters.

Parents or carers set a target and each time this is reached, the child will be allowed to post a star to achieve a final reward.

The good thing about this reward system is that it is very positive. There is no reminder of a day when the target wasn’t achieved. It embraces positive behaviour and avoids any focus on the negative.

As a novelty reward system, it works well and is surprisingly impressive.
