Reduce Rail Fair with Split Ticketing

At Chopsy Baby we get plenty of mileage out of our Family and Friends Railcard. The next thing we will be trying out is Split Ticketing. This is where you can cut costs by purchasing single tickets between the stops the train arrives at.

It’s a legal option not given at ticket machines or ticket offices and can cut costs considerably on long expensive journeys. The only disadvantage is having to keep a stash of tickets to present to conductors at each stop.
