Doctor Who Experience Closing This Week

The Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff, will be closing its doors for the final time this week.

The popular attraction originally opened in London before moving to a purpose built exhibition venue in Cardiff Bay in 2012.

Five years later, the lease is up on the building and the experience is coming to an end.

The final day will be Saturday 09 September 2017, with visitors urged to book tickets in advance.

Due to a Whovian in the house, we’ve been to the Experience several times since it first opened in London and a previous exhibition at the Red Dragon Centre a short distance away.

The iconic Cardiff Bay area is full of filming locations for both Doctor Who and Torchwood. A shrine for popular Torchwood character Ianto Jones, still remains at the waterfront despite being killed off in the 2009 Children of Earth series.
